Well done Galtee Club,
Many thanks once again for a great day . Your Galtee Challenge is some trek and and so well organised, its a huge credit to each and every one who helped make it the success it has become. From sign on to sign off it was obvious alot of planning had gone into this event and even I couldnt get lost ! Those white discs with the arrows were a great job, especially nearing the end, are they Toss O Neills Hydrosan drum covers ? Fair play always to the people who give their time and energy to ensure others have a safe crossing and thank you very much for a great day. See you next year DV.

A big thank you to Thos O'Neill, Rody Tierney, John O'Dwyer and Willie Ryan for organising a search of the Assaroola Glen for my GPS which I mislaid there on Sunday! Out of the goodness of their hearts they gave freely of their time and of their diesel and turned up in good cheer at the Ballnamuddy Farm this evening.
We searched the steep slope rising from where the Assaroola Waterfall becomes the Assaroola River.
Fair Dues to Willie Ryan who found the GPS.
I was moved and warmed by the actions of Thos, Rody, John and Willie. Thank you Guys for your kindness.

Thank you for posting info on the Knockmealdown Crossing! I did the C walk yesterday, it was very challenging, but most enjoyable! It took 4 and a half hours! Met the lovely Rita O' Neill from your club there. I also took part in the Winter Walking Festival in Aherlow in January just gone (C walk), it was great! My new hiking boots are getting quite a tour! Your website is excellent, well done.

Congratulations to Galtee Club on a great marathon on fools day. It was a great course and I really enjoyed it. Well done to Rody and all the others who worked hard to organise this. It was all very professionally done from the time keeping and water stops to the very clear marking system. Very well done indeed. See you all again next year with Gods help.
Best of luck,
