Thank you so much to everyone who gave of their time on marathon Sunday, what a day we had between the weather and the conditions under foot, but it was all eased by the smiling marshals and wonderful ladies in the tent on our return, who were as delighted for us as we were to finish !! The bananas never tasted so good !! Thank you to all who gave of their time to run this event, a big credit due to you all.
Hope to see you all again soon Kind regards Mary

On behalf of all of us at Tipperary Trail Runners can I just say what a great day we had on Sunday. A few of us were doing the Half and some the Full.
Everything was perfect from the parking, the stewards, the aid stations and most importantly the signage. Even the weather was not so bad for most of the day. All we had to do was turn up and run. What a great event and great credit to all involved.
Thanks again, we are already looking forward to next year.

Hi there,
I ran the half marathon today and want to pass on what a great experience I had (apart from the pain and suffering!). I found the event to be well organised and run by warm and welcoming people. This email is just to say thanks to all involved on the day and Galtee Walking Club generally for making the event open to non members and runners.
Many thanks, and see ye again,

Thanks to Danny for leading an excellent walk today. Organisation was superb, great company, ankle- breaking climb but very, very enjoyable. Thanks, especially, for arranging the weather. We mere humans don't deserve the Galtees!

A special thanks to all who helped me reach the top of Galtybeag on Sat 31st Jan 2015. All the encouragement much appreciated. I promised to send info. on Glen House, Clonmany, Co Donegal,to Anne O'Donnell. I can't find brochure at mo. but in the meantime she can get help on the net. There are many lovely walks in that area esp. one to lakes in the hills, the view is magnificent overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with Fanad Head and Lighthouse in the distance. Again thanks again to all, also the Aherlow Failte Society and the very helpful man who literally "pushed" me to the top. Cathy

Thanks to all Galtee Walking Club members for their help with the Winter Walking Festival last weekend. All walks went as planned which was great despite the harsh weather conditions. Response and feedback from visiting walkers was very positive, they all enjoyed their visit to the Glen. Thank you all.

B walk left Anglesboro village in mild dry weather conditions.
The 9 of us enjoyed this nice weather and nice views until we nearly reached Temple hill. Here we had fog and mist the weather here did not interfere with us enjoying our lunch and a friendly chat to other walkers who were also dining out.
On our way down the fog and mist lifted giving us again nice weather and off came our coats.

We arrived back in Anglesboro having had 4hours of good walking good company and plenty of chat.
