Thanks to all Galtee Walking Club members for their help with the Winter Walking Festival last weekend. All walks went as planned which was great despite the harsh weather conditions. Response and feedback from visiting walkers was very positive, they all enjoyed their visit to the Glen. Thank you all.

B walk left Anglesboro village in mild dry weather conditions.
The 9 of us enjoyed this nice weather and nice views until we nearly reached Temple hill. Here we had fog and mist the weather here did not interfere with us enjoying our lunch and a friendly chat to other walkers who were also dining out.
On our way down the fog and mist lifted giving us again nice weather and off came our coats.

We arrived back in Anglesboro having had 4hours of good walking good company and plenty of chat.

Hi,

We lost our dog 'Lenny' on Galtee Mor yesterday, 09th November. Close to the summit he slipped off the lead and ran off. We are back up on the mountain looking for him this morning. Anyone in the area that might spot him could you please contact Ray O' Brien on 0871215016 or Karen O' Brien on 0868781051. He is a brown & white (mostly brown) springer spaniel.

Thank you

Ray O' Brien
